This site was built using Notion + Super.so.

This as a documentation/knowledge base solution is relatively new and is what I would consider the bleeding edge of technical writing platforms when the situation calls for a pure documentation experience with very little feature-bloating. I have worked in a variety of Content Management Systems as a technical writer and though it takes a little more work to establish, I believe this implementation is the future of user communication.

Notion

A powerful content management system that utilizes pages and databases to organize and display information.

  • Collaborative workspace
  • Integrate with Slack, GitHub & more
  • Custom page databases and views
  • Pages and subpages
  • Get actionable insights about who’s viewing and interacting with your content.
  • Basic page analytics

Super.so

A feature-rich web hosting platform that is designed with Notion in mind. With a few clicks Super.so turns your Notion pages and databases into a rich and highly functional site.

  • Custom code
  • Custom templates
  • Connect your existing custom domain
  • Password protected pages
  • Automatic SSL
  • Optimized SEO

Why Notion + Super.so?

Utilizing a knowledge base or technical writing solution with Notion + Super.so offers a cost-effective and feature-rich alternative compared to other CMS solutions. Notion's flexibility and user-friendly interface enable efficient content creation and organization, while Super.so seamlessly integrates with Notion, providing a smooth transition to the web.

This combination eliminates the need for complex and expensive CMS implementations. Moreover, the collaborative nature of Notion allows teams to effortlessly contribute and update content in real-time, fostering a dynamic and up-to-date knowledge base.

Comparative cost

The simplicity, collaborative capabilities, and affordability make Notion + Super.so a compelling choice, ensuring a robust and accessible knowledge-sharing platform without the burden of excessive costs or complex features.

A Notion + Super.so user communication solution can cost as little as $56 monthly, as compared to the $300-$500 solutions offered by more established CMS platforms. This solution is not best in every case, but in my humble opinion, it is best in more cases than you may think.
